our sensors have been deployed on a church in Norway to monitor crack expansion on the walls.
Historical buildings like castles and churches, are more likely to suffer from structural deterioration and their condition therefore needs continuous monitoring for predictive maintenance and collapse prevention.
Our partner, Smart Sensor Systems, have developed a Plug & Play structural health monitoring system consisting of our sensors and their wireless dataloggers (iBridge). The system will continuously monitor structural deterioration (crack expansion) and transmit the data to the cloud which can be accessed by asset owners for structures health assessment and predictive maintenance.
